This little 'mini-series' will chronicle the
boys of ATF Little Britches from a somewhat different perspective; that of
their therapist, Dr. William Lowery. After some of the events that took place
in the Things We Learned series, Chris and Buck decided that their foster
sons needed a little help from Dr. Will.
During the next few weeks this series of stories
will hopefully:
1. Move the boys forward in the therapeutic process,
and…
2. Keep those of you who are 'hooked' on having
a new LB fic to read every weekend from having withdrawals.
This group of stories will be different from
the regular series in a few ways. The majority of the 'action' will take
place in Dr. Will's office and the clinic's playroom. Most of the stories,
with the exception of story one, will be shorter than most, as well. They
will also include things like Dr. Will's notes rather than the boys' essays,
therapy sessions rather than computer narrative, etc.
That said, I would like to say a big thank you
to the LB series writers who have given me (and I hope will continue to give
me) invaluable help by previewing the story. They have not only pointed out
lost punctuation and other typos. They have also let me know what does -
and doesn't - work. Thanks ladies!
And a huge thank you to Joy who - when I proposed
this idea - said "sounds good' and "what can I do to help?"
