Missing Scene from "Achilles"
Companion story to Good-bye Love
The stage pulled out and slowly disappeared from view, there was nothing I could do. I watched as you my heart road away on the stagecoach.
It was too late when I realized how much you meant to me. I stood idly by as watching you my happiness leave with the stage. I drifted thought out the town pondering what my life would be like without you. Everywhere I looked I saw you, only you. Tears I could not hide fell like the rain.
Now as I stand at the edge of town. Wondering what to do, should I go after you ? Or do I let you go? Before I could decide the stage was headed back. Ezra . . . Is that Ezra? Is he really driving the stage? Please, God please let him be all right. My heart was in my throat until I saw you.
I watched from the shadows. I saw the look of pride on your face. Quietly you led the way. I followed in the shadows. Watching. Oh, JD the mere site of you takes my breath away.
You looked around. I froze. You looked my way. I hoped the shadows hid me from you. Disappointment appeared on your face. A shiver ran down my spine. I hope it's not to late.
Dear JD, I'll understand if, you can't forgive the away I treated you. I realized just how much you mean to me and how much I need you. Please, JD if there is any hope for us, met me at our special place. Love, |
